General Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for the Als Plomari (hereinafter the “property”) are accepted. The Terms & Conditions below apply to stays in Als Plomari, the apartment with Property Registration Number 00001557560, owned by Evangelos Lagoutaris (hereinafter the “owner”), in Ammoudeli, Plomari, 812 00, Lesvos, Greece. The terms referring to booking procedure and website information refer exclusively to bookings made directly via the property’s website or through its alternative direct reservation channels.

By using this Site and/or by booking a Stay in Als Plomari, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

We may revise these terms & conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted. Your use of some parts or features of the Site may be governed by additional terms and conditions.

Binding

By accessing, browsing or otherwise using this website, you hereby agree to be bound by these Terms and conditions set forth below. The mere use of this website implies the knowledge and acceptance of these Terms and conditions. In some particular cases, we can also ask you to explicitly agree. You may be bound by additional contracts related to your relationship with us or any products or services that you receive from us. If any provisions of the additional contracts conflict with any provisions of these Terms, the provisions of these additional contracts will control and prevail.

By using this website or communicating with us by electronic means, you agree and acknowledge that we may communicate with you electronically on our website or by sending an email to you, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.

To access our website and/or services, you may be required to provide certain information about yourself as part of the communication process. You agree that any information you provide will always be accurate, correct, and up to date. We have developed a policy to address any privacy concerns you may have. Payment Policy

A valid Credit Card is required at booking time. The credit card is made online through the direct booking channel software and the Credit Card information is not shared with the owner or any other member of the property. Please refer to the payment policy stated during the reservation procedure to be informed for your reservation’s specific payment policy.

Cancellation Policy

Each rate booked at the property, is subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will incur a penalty charge as detailed in the Cancellation Policy of the rate booked. The property reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations under the circumstances where it appears that a guest has provided an invalid credit card, engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error. Also, the property reserves the right to cancel or amend bookings in case of Force Majeure such as natural or unavoidable catastrophe, health emergency or pandemic, war or political instability, and any other critical circumstance, not limited to the ones stated. In addition, the property also reserves the right to cancel or amend bookings if they do not adhere to its terms & conditions or to the local laws, including denial of main guest to provide a valid ID or Passport or (for Greek citizens) their VAT ID. Please refer to the cancellation policy stated during the reservation procedure to be informed for your reservation’s specific cancellation policy.

Pricing Errors

The owner reserves the right to cancel contracts based upon incorrect information being displayed in relation to price or service at any point in time.

Foreign Currency

Payments will be made only in hotel’s local currency (Euro). Other currencies used during the booking procedure are shown only for informative reasons.

Relocation in case of over-booking

In the rare unexpected event whereby the property cannot provide accommodation as previously confirmed, the property will comply with its standard of obligation by undertake to relocate guests into an alternative property of equal or better grading at no expense to the guest. Should there not be a property of equal or better grading in the vicinity of the original booking, it may be required to provide guests with a property of a lesser grading. If this is the case, any reduction in costs will be refunded to the guest. The alternatives offered are at the property’s discretion. Should the guest wish to choose a property of a standard other than offered under this condition, then the guest will be required to pay any difference.

During the stay in the property the guests are solely responsible for the preservation of their health and physical integrity. Adults should take care of the health and physical integrity of their children and any other minor that they accompany. Particular attention should be paid to the use of the kitchen, staircase, balcony, electrical outlets, electrical appliances and any other equipment or place that may pose a danger to minors, not limited to the ones stated. The guests understand and accept that the owner and his affiliates bear no liability (criminal or financial) for any accident during their stay in the accommodation and the sole responsibility lies with them and especially the Main Guest. Guests are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance. In any case any compensation of the owner and his affiliates to the guests may never be higher than the cost of the specific stay that the guest paid.

Insurance

The owner strongly recommends you purchase Comprehensive Travel Insurance. We suggest that the policy include, but not limited to, the following coverage – loss of payment through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The services described in and available through the site may not be available to be booked in your country.
